After assembling and testing the drum stand, here is what I learned.
The stand is plenty sturdy, with a thick, rubberized covering over metal ends to protect the floor and your drum shell. Even with vigorous playing, the stand stayed in place, and none of the adjustments came undone.
The stand was not hard to put together. The amazon stock photos show you what to do. Basically, there are three pieces: a top portion, a bottom portion, and a drum stick holder/pouch. The top portion has two adjustments: one to hold the drum, and the other to adjust the angle of the drum head. The bottom portion sits on the floor, with a neck clamp to adjust the overall height of the drum, and a lower clamp to adjust the width of the feet. The drum stick holder/pouch has a single clamp, to affix the drum stick holder to the top portion of the stand.
To assemble, fit the top portion into the bottom portion and tighten the lower portion clamp over the neck where the two pieces fit together. This adjusts the overall height of the drum. There is also a clamp on the bottom portion to adjust the width of the feet on the floor. Once you've put the two pieces together, you can open the drum shell clamp on the top portion, using the large black plastic knob, to accept the drum shell. Then slowly turn this knob to tighten the clamp on the drum shell. Only tighten as much as needed to secure the shell, and no more! I think it is good that Donner made this knob out of plastic. It helps prevent you from exerting too much force, and damaging your drum shell. I can imagine that a metal knob would encourage the use of too much force, making it easy to crush the shell.
At this point, you can adjust the height of the drum head so it matches the rest of your set. You should realize that there is a tradeoff - putting the feet farther apart will be more stable, but this will also lower the drum height. To offset that change, you can loosen the neck clamp to raise the drum. In other words, the top portion should be extended as far as possible while maintaining good support, which allows the bottom portion to have the feet spread farther apart for maximum stability. Once the drum height is correct, and the feet are positioned where you want them, use the other clamp on the top portion to set the drum head angle in the perfect position for playing.
Finally, it is time to install the drum stick holder. Fully open the clamp on the drum stick holder, and place the circular part around the upper neck of the top portion. You may find it easier to slowly open the drum stick holder clamp until just before it is completely undone, and then push the barely-closed clamp onto the upper neck of the top portion. It takes some pressure to get this clamp over the upper part of the neck, so don't be surprised if you need to push on it a little bit. To double-check yourself, I've attached a close-up picture of this clamp after installation, so you can see where it goes. Rotate the holder/pouch to where you want to store your sticks, and then you can tighten the clamp to make it fit the neck properly. You are now finished with assembly!
I really like the clamps and tilt mechanism built into this stand. They can hold a wide variety of drums, securely, in a wide variety of positions. Mine was a 12" snare, but it can easily hold larger drum heads. The drum stick holder is a very handy addition to the stand. While it takes some care to install, it is nice that you can rotate the holder to any location you desire. Now I don't have to figure out where to lay my sticks, so they don't roll off a nearby shelf or table.
Overall, this is a good, sturdy design that is well worth the price. It is just as stable and durable as more expensive stands, even some that cost twice as much. Plus - it has a very useful holder for drum sticks. I like it!

I used the stand to create a acoustic drum kit using a Cajon and a snare and percussion stand.

Nice, affordable snare stand. As a mom of three boys who always finds drumsticks all over the floor, I truly find the best feature to be the stick compartment. Great value overall.

It's cheap without feeling cheap. I got this as a replacement for our busted snare stand. So far so good. Assembly was fairly easy and straight forward.
Fairly sturdy.
The stick holder was a welcome bonus.

This stand easily adjusted to the electronic pad I am using. The support and sturdiness of the product is surprising. The stick caddy, which I thought was going to be useless is actually the best feature!

My 11 year old daughter needed a stand up snare stand for school band. All the others I found were several inches too short. This works perfect, is fairly light, and was easy for her to set up straight out of the package. The included drumstick bag was handy as well.

Had a partial drum set and my neighbor (who actually plays the drums) stole my original snare mount so I decided to get a cheap one to replace it, works excellent, it moves around good to set it where its comfortable, the stick holder thing doesn't really fit on it but I mounted to the tom mounts and its nice, no more searching the floor for the sticks. My neighbor has played it many times and he beats the living cap out of the drums whe. He plays (hence why he needed to take my other snare mount) and it has held up perfectly fine. Excellent value and quality for the money!

Great solid built snare stand for the price! Includes a stick bag that’s removable, ended up attaching to my hi hat stand for better reach which was awesome!
Pocopax
I bought this stand to practice my drumline music and so far it’s holding up good! The stand has a nice weight to it that helps with stability and the included stick bag is also sweet to have. I was worried that it wouldn’t go up enough for me to use while standing but it surely does justice for a 5’6” guy like myself. Overall, I’m happy with my product and I look forward to continue practicing with it.
*I plan on taking this stand to different places for rehearsals and outdoor playing so I’ll update if anything happens.

Assembling the stand took only a couple of minutes, with no need for directions. I set it up next to my desk and was very pleased to discover that it fits the Maschine perfectly and, once tightened down, I found the unit to be very secure. The vibration when drumming, sequencing and composing tracks is minimal; and the rubber feet really keep the stand in place. I am happy with how well this stand works with the Maschine and would highly recommend it to anyone needing a stand for their own unit.

I got this on sale and I don’t regret it. It’s not the best stand in the market but for practicing on a drum pad it’s good.
Even though amazon messed up my order and did not came in time, I’m glad everything is not broken or missing. Good job.

Very Sturdy, great quality, lots of value for the price point. I purchased this for the express purpose of holding my drum machine that my wife got me for Christmas. Clamping mechanisms work flawlessly. not sure how this works on a traditional snare drum, but assuming it works like a champ.

This stand was perfect for what I needed it for. It was very easy to assemble. Its is stable and sturdy. It is also easy to adjust the height. With my son having to do band at home and online I needed to get him the proper equipment so that he can learn right. I am very satisfied with this purchase to hold a snare drum and heavy drum pad.
