I will definitely give this guitar set to my nephew. He will be the next jimmy hendrix .. lol THe guitar is pretty good for any beginner. you got everything you need in this set. Perfect to start any basic lessons.

I've owned one guitar in the past and hardly used it. So my knowledge of guitars and playing them isn't good. I will say this seems to come with everything to get started. I over tightened one string while tuning it. I was thankful to find a spare set of strings that came with it. My two oldest are 5 and 7. They were overjoyed to receive this. They've had lots of fun playing with it. Still waiting on some lessons from their Aunt and Uncle who both play guitar! It is quite pricey for something to play with. I do hope they will play with more knowledge after some lessons. So I think if you're child is able to get lessons this would be a good beginner guitar!

There are several issues with this set: the guitar does not stay in tune for long; the frets are rough and so you need to make sure you file them nicely before starting to play it, otherwise you will hurt your fingers; and the amp is a little scratchy and tinny sounding. While I am not too fussy about that amp because it is a decent amp for beginners, the powering issue is strange as it does not come with proper cables for powering it. The guitar is decent looking and has a decent build and construction. The fret issue notwithstanding, it is a decent beginner's guitar. All in all, this is a decent set that makes for a perfect gift for kids learning to play guitar.

I was very excited to get this electric guitar as my 9 year old kid is starting to take music lessons. The set comes with everything you need for a beginner - The electric guitar itself, a carrying case, a mini amplifier, guitar picks, cable, adjustable strap, tuner, extra strings and even a battery for the amplifier. However we found that the battery that came with not work, but once replaced everything is good to go. The guitar itself is very high-quality, we got it in the matte black finishing and it feels very smooth and skin friendly. Although this is a kid’s guitar with a mini amplifier, it does sound no different than the adult guitar (at least for a beginner). You do need to know how to tune a guitar to get started on this. Overall we are very happy with this purchase and I will strongly recommend this.

This Donner 30 Inches Electric Guitar Beginner Kit is really awesome. I was actually quite amazed at how perfectly proportioned it is for my six year old and I can't think it could possibly be any more perfect. I love it. It's also nice because besides being a very good quality, not toylike by any means, it also comes as a complete kit ready to go right out of the box. My son was super excited when he saw it and it was really nice that he was able to start playing it literally within minutes of opening it. The little app that it comes with is not too quiet and not too loud to be overly loud. It's really one of the first things that we've given him that are kind of a step above the normal toy type product to where he really focused on the tuning and actual musical aspect of it which we really like and appreciate. It's an excellent price point for again a relatively complete kit. It brings a tremendous amount of joy and value. Highly recommend it

This is a good set for a beginner but there are things to watch out for if you are not handy with guitars and amps. The guitar is beautifully built and cosmetically speaking it is in great shape. It comes with a functional tuner, picks, strap, strings, cable, amp, etc. everything you need to start playing. the gig bag is very nicely padded. Here is the reason for the 4-star review 1) Guitar played great out of the box and the action was good but the fret ends are somewhat sharp and uncomfortable. I had to take some sanding paper and steel wood to smoothen them out. 2) The humbucking pick-up is a great touch to eliminate noise but this one is very hot. A medium output would be a better fit for a beginner. Especially for this amp. 3) Amp sounds like a cheap radio. It is very buzzy and fizzy. Gain is not usable at all. I ended up turning the gain all the way down. Volume quarter way. Tone at 12 o'clock. This gave me a manageable clean tone. I sincerely hope that you would find my review helpful.

This mini guitar is probably way nicer than you would expect. It's absolutely flawless and nice and heavy, solid little compact electric guitar. It weighs 4.25 pounds or 68 ounces. The finish is seriously gorgeous. It sounds great! I'm still waiting on my buddy to come tune it properly but i think it sounds amazing. He says it will sound even better after he tunes it. We'll see. The accessories and case and Amp are all really decent especially when you consider the price. It seems impossibly cheap. The one thing I don't like is the frets have sharp edges which is a little annoying. Overall a great value, I highly recommend!

I found this guitar to be well made and of good quality. It includes everything you need to start playing. The speaker works properly and is of fair quality, it has a good volume intensity and one of the knobs turns the sound into a distortion rock sound which is great. The guitar is a great size for my 7-year-old son as it is not that heavy. The guitar has a classic color, and it comes with a tuner, extra strings, the strap, a set of guitar picks (which have a nice color design), the guitar bag and a small practical and cute speaker that include the battery. I feel it’s a great set, everything you need to start playing the guitar. Very happy with this set.

We absolutely adore this electric guitar. We got it for our 11 year old who is interested in learning all kinds of music instruments, but especially the guitars. He already had a Fender Acoustic that I got him a few years ago and we have been working on that but he really wanted to also try out the electric guitar. I felt this one would probably be perfect for his size and it is, plus all of the things that come with it are awesome. For the price, this definitely is worth it. The craftsmanship of the guitar is impressive and we didn't have to break the bank to get him started on this. I highly recommend this for a child who wants to learn the electric guitar, you absolutely can't go wrong with the kit. The amp works sufficiently for this learning purpose and when you are ready to upgrade, you will know what to look for! Hope this review is helpful!

I was hesitated about getting this product but I definitely happy once I received it. This is not a toy, it’s a really guitar! I am so impressed with the quality of this guitar. It has a heavy feel and the volume and tone knobs are way better than my exceptions. For the beginner guitar learning kids, I cannot imagine any other better gift than this. Everything you need are included in this purchase. A fancy look electric mini guitar, picks, cables, mini amplifier, gig bag. Again, really impressive. This guitar kits would be kiddo’s first door opener for their rock and roll dreams. I also did some research about Donner brand before my order, unlike those big brands with high price , Donner makes decent quality instrument at an extremely beginner friendly price. The reviews on those full size guitars are very high. Especially for beginners, you cannot go wrong with this brand and with this price. If your kids love music and love guitars, buy this! If you want your kids to learn guitar and don’t know if they will be interested in it, buy this! You will never go wrong with it.
