As a beginner guitar student, I purchased a good quality guitar, a Tanglewood. But I struggled with the same problem that had stopped me for years (over 30 years), the C chord. Due to puffy fingers no matter how hard I tried I could not play a lovely clean sound. I had quit at least 6 times , until now.
I saw the Donner Guitars advertisement. So I researched the brand, only good feedback, so I read about their guitars and saw the package, I thought, wow that looks like a good deal. Having owned my new guitar for just a few week, I'm loving the sound and ease (for ME) of learning and playing. The sound is lovely and rich. I took it to a luthier to improve the action slightly and it sounded even better, Thank youDonner for making it possible to afford a great instrument.

Definitely good value for money. I am not a beginner but I would recommend this setup for a beginner. For the price I feel like I am being picky but there were a few things I didn't like. There seems to be something wrong with the display on mine and I wasn't over impressed with how it sounds plugged in, but I didn't buy it for that. The fret bars feel rough particularly up around the 12th. Very noticeable when bending. But honestly what you get for the price really is a bargain and it's does have quite a nice sound.

I am a beginner, So I decided not to spend a ton of money. My father has been playing all his life. He was impressed on how it looks and sounds! He put it up to his name brand expensive guitar, and he was impressed. Glad I decided to buy this one. All i had to do was lower the action a bit .

I decided to learn how to play guitar and I didn't want to spend a ton of money. I was a little skeptical when I saw the price and what this all includes, but this arrived yesterday and I was very pleased with the quality of the guitar and everything included. I'm no guitar expert, but I've seen cheap quality guitars and this isn't one of them. All of the positive reviews on here are accurate and I'm very happy that there's an affordable option available to people who want to get started, like me. I was able to pick it up, do a little tuning after learning my strings, and then get started!

Wow, what a great guitar for the money. It has some of the most attractive mahogany on it. And the satin finish gives it a wonderful sheen.The gig bag is pretty good for a freebie, great capo, nice accessory pack is included. It is a great sounding guitar too, This is a great inexpensive guitar, a great value for your money.

This guitar is great, it sounds good and plays great. The fit and finish is great for a guitar at this price range, the frets are nice and smooth and the strings are Ok. You can compare this with other guitars and can not beat the price! I am a beginner but have friends that are in a band and after they saw the quality and all the things that come with this guitar, they told me it can't be beat. Almost any guitar needs to be tuned often. The sound is nice and warm and it sounds even better when connected to a mixer and my Sound system at home..

WOW is about all I have to say. This guitar came today. tuned it in under five minutes by ear and then checked it with my,yes Donner tuner. Right on! You can even play phonics on this guy. For the price point this guitar is great and so is Donner. Fast response to any question or need! Love this company. Very Service Based and in a world where most companies only care about the money these people don't, they care that your happy with the products they make.

Pretty impressive out of the box. First thing you need to do is put a set of Elixir custom lights on it. Action was perfect. Easy to play, little to no buzz. I have a Taylor but wanted a campfire guitar and this fits the bill well. Plugged it in last night and sounds good through the system. Not sure how this will last over time but first thought is really cool guitar for the price.

Don't let the price fool you. This is an excellent quality guitar that sounds better than my more expensive acoustic. It looks great, feels great, but most importantly it sounds and plays great. The preamp with built-in tuner is high quality also. Some reviews were still quite positive but suggested some light buzzing on some frets, but I can't make this buzz. If you want a cheap guitar to smash on stage like a rock star...grab one of your more expensive ones that don't sound as good and treat this one like a baby.
I purchased this for my daughter to learn on because the reviews mostly suggested it was an easy learner due to low string positioning. I totally agree, and it has a narrow neck for smaller hands. I'll still be grabbing it myself though when she's not looking.

Playability and feel is great. Seems well made. Built in tuner works great. Trussrod is adjustable. I really like the finish, toned down natural wood, not "shinny" like in the Amazon pictures.
The frets don't feel sharp, the sound is crisp and it has a beautiful tone. Arrived early and was well packaged. Accessories are of good quality, I even got a tuner included which was a nice surprise.

This is a good deal for a beginner level guitarist who is willing to explore the world of music with Acoustic Guitar. Following is my opinion
1. Inbuilt tuner and guitar pickup system, which is awesome as you can use this guitar to play some small gigs.
2. Full size cutaway design to access lower frets which is difficult in dreadnought.
3. Comes with all the basic accessories (cherry on the cake! ) and a really good quality soft case to protect your guitar from smudges and scratches.
4. Solid top and mahagony wood is rare at this price point as I have more than 5 guitars from different brands, with aging the sound improves and becomes more mellow and smooth.

Received this nice acoustic-electric from Donner. Arrived on time well packaged. Guitar was in a foam sleeve, inside a gig bag, inside a plastic bag, in the cardboard box.
Fit & finish was very nice. Also included a Capo, tuner, extra strings & strap.
The guitar tuned up easily and the tuning pegs seem to told well. Sounds nice and warm acoustically & through an amp.

Alright so first the good stuff, the guitar is beautiful and the back, sides and neck all have a nice looking wood grain. I love the preamp since it gives complete control over the sound with a nice 3 band eq + presence control.
